Responsibilities
- Carrying out assigned responsibilities while working independently and with minimum supervision; establishing avionics team priorities as required;
- Multitasking and applying priority to a project with adaptability and urgency while meeting Logic Air timelines with the avionics team;
- Ensuring that the work is performed according to Logic Air quality standards, policies and procedures and the applicable regulations (Transport Canada, FAA, etc.);
- Working closely with the aircraft’s team lead to ensure that the work is performed according to schedule;
- Ensuring that the aircraft’s documentation is complete and aligns with the company’s standards and those of the customer;
- Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the workplace at all times;
- Promoting the safety management system and making suggestions for improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to operate avionic test equipment and tooling;
- Proficiency in the use of wiring schematics, diagrams, and other engineering aircraft documentation. Must be able to red-line discrepancies (RFE) and work with the engineering group to correct documentation issues;
- Effective interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills;
- Self motivated and self directed to meet Logic Air engineering team objectives;
- Ability to operate in a dynamic work environment;
- Strong adaptability, organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Availability for global travel.
